London: Jessica Horn to speak at New Internationalist event - What does it mean to be an ‘internationalist’ today?

Jessica Horn, a founding member of the African Feminist Forum working group, and co-editor of ‘Voice, Power and Soul: Portraits of African Feminists‘ will be speaking on the subject, ‘What does it mean to be an internationalist today?’ at a symposium organised by the New Internationalist.

The symposium will be co-chaired by Hannah Pool (journalist/author) and Hazel Healy of New Internationalist, with other panellists including Lindsey Hilsum (Channel 4), John Hilary (War on Want), Jonathan Glennie (Overseas Development Institute), Mariéme Jamme (Senegalese-born social entrepreneur), Dan Smith (International Alert) and Asad Rehman (climate campaigner, Friends of the Earth)

The event will take place at Amnesty Human Rights Action Centre in central London on the evening of the 31 October 2013. Interested parties are invited to register to attend.
